First, the protective cover
The protective cover of the circular saw is divided into two types: the table top and the bottom. The portable lightweight cover is composed of a support frame, a plexiglass cover, a separation knife and a brake pad. The cover can be swung on the support frame during work to accommodate changes in the thickness of the wood. There are reinforcing ribs in the cover to increase the vibration resistance of the cover. The sawing of the wood can be clearly seen through the plexiglass cover. This kind of guard is suitable for sheet sawing with high precision requirements, such as laminates, woodwork and so on. The purpose of the undercover guard is to prevent the operator from being scratched by the saw blade when cleaning the wood chips. The structure is relatively simple, and is usually protected by steel plates on both sides of the saw blade, and the distance between the two sides is preferably not more than 150 mm. Second, anti-rebound device
In order to prevent the rebound of wood, a saw blade, a separation knife and a brake paw are generally installed on the circular saw. The separation knife is a curved boring blade with a smooth front edge, usually made of wear-resistant steel sheet, and its thickness is generally about 10% thicker than the saw blade. It should be noted that the separation knife should be firmly installed behind the saw blade so as to be kept on the same plane as the saw blade. In addition, brake pads (claws) are mounted in front of the circular saw wood feed or on both sides of the shield. This is also an anti-rebound device. When the wood is fed for processing, the brake pads (claws) are lifted and the wood can pass smoothly. If the wood vibrates and counters, the tip of the brake pad will catch the wood, especially when sawing a large-sized sheet, the braking effect is more important. Since the brake is often subjected to a strong counterattack, both the support shaft and the support shaft should be made of a material having sufficient impact strength.
